Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect what you send us through the form or when you buy Reel Talk, we use it to reply to you and do the work, and we don't sell it to anyone.
Who we are
Click It Social Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 13857319. Our registered address is 1 Cabot House, Compass Point Business Park, St Ives, Cambridgeshire, England, PE27 5JL.
We are the data controller for the information described here. If you want to talk to us about any of it, email hello@clickitsocial.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
When you fill in the enquiry form
Your name, email address, social media handle, website if you give one, what you need help with, your budget if you're a business, and anything you write in the notes box.
We use it to reply to you and to work out whether we can help. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked us to get in touch, so we do.
When you buy Reel Talk
Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe gives us your name and email address, and we pass them the account name and platform you typed on our page so we know whose videos to watch.
To do the work we then watch the videos on the account you gave us. Those are public posts on your own profile, and we only look at the account you asked us to review. Our lawful basis is performing a contract: you've paid us to do it.
When you email us
We keep the email, like anyone does. Same basis as above, depending on whether you're asking or buying.
When you visit the site
We use Plausible for analytics. It counts page views and button clicks without cookies and without collecting anything that identifies you. There's no advertising tracking on this site and no third party trackers.
The Reel Talk page saves the account name and platform you typed into your own browser's storage, so the thank you page can confirm your order back to you. It stays on your device, it never reaches us that way, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Who else sees it
Only the companies we use to run the business, and only for that purpose:
- Netlify, who host the site and receive enquiry form submissions
- Stripe, who take the payment
- Plausible, for the analytics described above
- Our email provider, so we can read and reply to your messages
We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for.
Where it's kept
Some of these companies store data outside the UK. Where that happens they rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't go anywhere: up to 12 months, then deleted
- Customers and clients: for as long as we're working together, and then 6 years afterwards, because HMRC requires records of business transactions to be kept that long
- Reports we've written for you: we keep a copy so we can send it again if you lose it. Ask and we'll delete it
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- Show you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete it
- Stop using it for a particular purpose
- Send it to you, or to someone else, in a usable format
Email hello@clickitsocial.co.uk and we'll sort it within a month. It's free.
If you think we've handled your information badly, tell us first and we'll try to fix it. If you're still unhappy you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
This site and our services are for people running businesses and creator accounts. They're not aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change how any of this works we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
